Functional Requirement

1. New Era IT needs to provide NEC Japan with a list of key master data so it can be converted into SAP. They have asked for a current definition of the following key data - . Material Master and Info Records.

2. From the bussiness understand that for Japan country they will use their own UPC number number. To full fill this requirement need to maintain a seperate UPC numbers for Japan. So NEC advised to look for possible options to maintain seperate UPC numbers for JAPAN. The issue is Article numbers will maintained in basic data of material master. So not possible to maintain at company code or plant level.

1. As advised by NEC provided the key fields for Material Master, Info records in spreadsheets. Attachments are enclosed below.

2. During analysis understand that to maintain the customer specific UPC/EAN numbers SAP provided below BADI. Need to investigate about this BADI and check whether this BADI will be usefull to full fill our requirement or not. But later on understand that this BADI is not usefull. So escalated the issue to SAP to maintain separate UPC numbers for Japan.
